Free Trial Terms
1. Who we are
"Cyberian Systems", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the verified-inference platform reachable at cyberiansystems.ai, registered in Quebec, Canada. "You" and "your" refer to the individual or organization that creates a trial account.
2. What the trial is
The trial gives you time-limited and quota-limited access to a subset of the Cyberian inference and verification API:
- Duration: 14 calendar days from email verification, unless extended in writing. The trial clock does not start at signup; it starts the moment you click the confirmation link in the email we send.
- Quota: 400 chunks of inference per trial period (and additional per-day, per-minute, and per-request limits described in the documentation).
- Models: the embedding models we expose during the trial. We may add or remove models without notice.
- Cost: no fee. No credit card required.
Limits, model availability, and infrastructure characteristics may change during the trial as the service evolves.
3. Eligibility and accounts
The trial is intended for organizations evaluating Cyberian for legitimate business purposes. By signing up you represent that:
- You are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- You have authority to accept these terms on behalf of any organization you list.
- The information you provide (email, organization name) is accurate.
- You are not a competitor evaluating the service primarily to copy its design or features.
You are responsible for keeping your API key secret. Activity authenticated by your key is treated as your activity.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that violates any applicable export-control, sanctions, or privacy law.
- Submit content containing personal data subject to specific regulatory regimes (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) during the trial - the trial environment is not certified for regulated workloads.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, or quota enforcement; reverse-engineer the wire protocol; or probe the system in ways unrelated to using the documented SDK.
- Use the service to develop a product that competes directly with Cyberian Systems' verified-inference offering.
- Re-sell, sublicense, or expose the service to third parties as a product of your own.
- Submit content the volume of which exceeds the documented per-request, per-day, or per-period limits, or which is intended to exhaust capacity rather than evaluate the service.
We may suspend or terminate trial access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. We reserve all rights regarding remedies for breach.
5. Your data
Inputs you submit to the API are processed for the purpose of generating outputs and producing verification receipts. During the trial:
- Inputs and outputs are stored on platform infrastructure for the time required to execute the job, generate the receipt, and respond to support inquiries about that job.
- We do not use your inputs to train any model.
- We do not share your inputs or outputs with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g., compute providers executing your job under the same confidentiality posture).
- Compute may be performed on infrastructure located in Canada or the United States.
- You retain ownership of your inputs and any outputs you generate.
Personal data we collect about you (the account holder) is governed by our Privacy Policy.
6. Receipts and verification
The platform produces cryptographic Merkle receipts that anchor input commitments, output commitments, and proof commitments. Receipts are intended to give you a strong technical attestation that the requested inference was performed with the specified configuration.
However: a receipt is not a legal warranty of suitability for a specific use case, regulatory regime, or downstream decision. You remain responsible for evaluating whether the model and its outputs are fit for your purpose.
7. No warranty
The trial is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not commit to any service-level objective or recovery time during the trial.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cyberian Systems and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the trial. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the trial is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD 100). Some jurisdictions do not permit certain of these limitations; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
9. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate trial access at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to: trial expiry, breach of these terms, or operational reasons. On termination, your API keys are revoked and stored data may be deleted.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms during the trial. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive forum for disputes is the courts located in Montreal, Quebec, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide otherwise.
